Evelyn has been living with her grand parents since she was 9. Her grand parents are getting older and recently they allowed her father to move back in with them and that is causing a lot of stress as he is trying to act like her father after being away from her for over 9 years. He is very condeming in his attitude and language towards her and she is struggling with this demeaning attitude. I suggested she get back to church and begin praying every day as she used to do, She has fallen away recently but recognizes the need to re-establish her relationship with Christ. We prayed for her strength to renew this journey and to begin praying and asking God to help her forgive her parents for abandoning her and not being there for her. She and I closed in prayer.
