Oh be merciful Lord as you welcome this sinner.
In your grace forgive all my transgressions.
Let the gentleness of your unending love Lord,
Bring peace to this searching and lost heart.
Grant my sweet Savior not what I am worthy of;
But what you unselfishly gave,
Your blood,
Your tears,
Your body
That I might someday sit at your side,
When the days of pain and sorrow no longer fill my days-
Lover of my soul I ask of you to bring me home that I may finally feel true happiness and love.
